GAINESVILLE, Fla. – It was another beautiful day in Florida as the Bulldogs took on day two of the Florida Relays.
The Bulldogs picked up an additional two victories, to give them a total of four on the weekend. Logan Boss, who earned all-america status during the indoor season, made her outdoor season-debut and blew the competition away with a mark of 1.85m.
2015 1500m NCAA Champion Rhianwedd Price competed in the event for the first time this season, and obliterated the competition at 4:13.84. Ffion Price also ran a stellar time in the event at 4:20.61 in a sixth-place finish.
"It was great to see Rhianwedd compete in the 1500 again," MSU coach Steve Dudley said. "After sitting out last season, she has been ready to get back out there. I thought she competed really well, and it was good to her get a victory. It was also good to get Logan back out here. She had one of the best indoor campaigns in Bulldog history, so we are looking forward to seeing her roll that over into the outdoor season."
