2016 All-RegionCAREER: A European transfer who decided to join her twin sister in the United States while earning a post graduate degree … Incredibly consistent, as she finished inside the top-10 in 11-of-12 events during the 2016 Indoor season. Has already captured first in four events during her one-year MSU career.
2016 CROSS COUNTRY SEASON: Made her 2016 debut at Griak, finishing as MSU's third-place runner with a time of 22:35 ... Finished inside the top 100 at Pre-Nats, running a time of 21:07.8 ... Named to the All-Region team after finishing 15th at Regionals, running a time of 20:43.6 to propel MSU to its first Regional title in program history ... Ran a personal best 6K time of 20:38.8 at NCAA Championships, helping propel the Bulldogs to their highest finish in program history and an SEC best 15th overall.
2016 OUTDOOR TRACK & FIELD SEASON: Won the distance medley relay in back-to-back events at the Florida and Alabama Relays … Finished fifth in the 800m at the LSU Battle on the Bayou with a time of 2:06.89 … Placed fifth in the 1500m at the Virginia Challenge, finishing in 4:17.94 … Came in ninth in the 800m final at the SEC Championships … Finished sixth in the 1500m NCAA East Prelim to advance to the NCAA Championships where she finished 13th in her prelim.
2016 INDOOR TRACK & FIELD SEASON: Finished inside the top-10 in 11-of-12 events in which she competed … Won the second track & field event she ever competed in at MSU, taking the 800m at the Commodore Invitational with a time of 2:09.31 … Won the 4x8 relay at the 2016 Armory Track Invitational with a time of 8:51.60 … Finished third in the mile run at the Music City challenge, recording a personal-best 4:41.49 time … Placed third in the distance medley relay at the SEC Indoor Track & Field Championships with a time of 11:15.89 … Finished 10th in the mile run at the SEC Indoor Track & Field Championships.
2015 CROSS COUNTRY SEASON: Competed in five events, finishing inside the top-50 in three of them during her first semester in Maroon and White.
PERSONAL: Born Ffion Gwenith Price on Aug. 11, 1994 in Llandrindod Wells, Wales … The twin sister of Rhianwedd Price … Daughter of Yvette and Derek Price … Has one other sibling, Carwyn (24) … To psyche herself up for a meet, she likes to drink coffee, put on a baseball hat and listen to old school tunes … She chose to attend MSU because of her twin sister and her relationship with the coaching staff … Her favorite Bulldog athletes of all time are Meggan Franks and Tiffany Dudley … Her teammates give her a hard time due to her Welsh accent … The player she respects most on the team is national champion Curtis Thompson, and the most likely to surprise will be J.T. Makay … Most memorable athletic moment came when she won Commonwealth Youth Gold in the 1500m … Her goal while at MSU is to compete in the NCAA Finals.
