The Bulldogs prepare for the only home meet of the season
MSU Prepares To Open Outdoor Season At Home With Bulldog Relays

STARKVILLE, Miss. – And so begins the Outdoor portion of the track and field season, as the Bulldogs prepare to host the first-annual Bulldog Relays at the Mike Sanders Track & Field Complex.
The event begins at 11 a.m. Friday morning, kicking off with the women's hammer throw at 11 a.m. Running events begin at 3 p.m. with the women's shuttle hurdle relay. 2016 NCAA javelin champion Curtis Thompson will make his season-debut on Saturday around 10:30 a.m.
"We are ready to get this meet underway," MSU coach Steve Dudley said. "We always enjoy getting to host meets and showcase our great facility. We are excited for the opportunities that come with the beginning of the outdoor season and are ready to get underway."
The Bulldogs will play host to nine other teams from around the southeast, including SEC foe Alabama and in-state rival Southern Mississippi. Also in attendance at the meet will be Alabama-Huntsville, Allen County CC, Arkansas State, Butler CC, Mississippi Valley, Missouri State and New Orleans.
