Cross Country prepares for Griak Invitational
No. 29 Cross Country Takes Aim For Griak Invitational

STARKVILLE, Miss. – Set the compass due north, as the No. 29 Mississippi State cross country team has touched down in Minneapolis, Minn. ready to take on the Griak Invitational.
"This is by far the toughest test of the season so far," MSU coach Houston Franks said. "This is one of the biggest meets of the season, and there will be many ranked teams competing, including us. This will be Ffion Price's first race this season, and we are excited to have her back. We hope to have a good showing."
The annual event, hosted by the Minnesota Gophers, will be broadcast on FloTrack.com. The MSU men will hit the trail at 12:20 p.m. CT while the women will follow at 1:35.
Antonia Hehr, Rhianwedd Price and Shannon Fair have been MSU's top three runners in each race so far this season. All three finished inside the top-10 at the Memphis Twilight, while Price narrowly missed a second-straight top-10 finish by placing 11th at the Commodore Classic last weekend.
