HIGH SCHOOL:
Two-year starter and three-year letter-winner at Ankeny High School • Earned first-team Iowa Girls Coaches Association All-State honors and was named to the All-Des Moines Register team • Helped lead coach Dave Whims' Hawkettes to a 39-1 record and a second consecutive Iowa state title • Libero who paced her team with 357 digs with 23 aces and a 90% serving rate as a senior in 2009 • Served as team captain in 2009 • Also earned first-team all-district honors for the second consecutive year and was a first-team All-Central Iowa Metro League pick and CIML Player of the Year selection by the Des Moines Register • Tabbed to play in the 2009 IGCA All-Star match • Honor roll student • Also played basketball at AHS • Played club volleyball for six years with the Iowa Power Volleyball Alliance coached by Arlie Brandmeyer.
