Brian Hazelwood enters his fourth season as a volunteer assistant with the Mississippi State volleyball program.
He is assigned on-court coaching duties as well as assists in the offensive and defensive game planning throughout the season. The Clinton, Miss., native also aids in the preparation of scouting reports for each of the Bulldogs’ opponents.
Hazelwood was a two-time All-Southeastern Conference placekicker during his MSU career (1995-98). He later played four seasons as a placekicker in the arena football league, earning second-team all-league honors in three of his four seasons.
He is married to Jenny Hazelwood and they are the parents of two children, Allison Riley and Andrew Brian.
