State To Compete In The 2026 Showdown At The Net

STARKVILLE – Mississippi State volleyball is set to play against Wake Forest in Winston-Salem, N.C., for the 2026 ACC/SEC Challenge. Â
State will play the Demon Deacons on their home turf on September 8. The challenge will have matches between ACC and SEC schools between September 8 and 9, later this fall.
The event will be highlighted by matches between Tennessee versus Pittsburgh and Texas A&M versus Stanford at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex on September 9.
This will be the second annual Showdown at the Net competition, with the inaugural held in the 2025 season. State won the matchup last season, defeating Duke in five sets at home.
