2013: Led all regular starters with a .324 batting average, 40 runs batted in, 35 runs scored, 51 walks, a .622 slugging percentage and .502 on-base percentage ... The 51 walks tied the MSU single-season record while the .502 on-base percentage is the ninth best in a year in program history and the .662 slugging percentage is the 10th-highest mark ... Starter for all 57 games, 39 at catcher, 14 at third base and four at first base ... In 14 starts at third base, batted .419 with an .806 slugging percentage and .609 on-base percentage ... Threw out 10 would-be base stealers ... Started all 24 games in Southeastern Conference action and led the squad with 13 runs scored ... 2012: An NFCA All-South Region First-Team member after hitting .321 with 54 hits, 28 RBI, 26 runs, 21 walks, seven doubles and two home runs ... Started all 57 MSU games, with 44 starts at third base, 11 at catcher, one at first and one as the designated player ... Moved from catcher to third base Feb. 24 to help the team shore up its corner defense and played there for the majority of the season ... Hit cleanup a team-high 43 games ... A 2012 NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete as well as a 2012 SEC Spring Academic Honor Roll selection ... Tied for team lead with 16 multiple-hit games ... 2011: Named to the 2011 All-SEC Freshman Team after hitting .285 with eight home runs and 36 RBIs in 55 games (54 starts) ... Led the SEC by throwing out 22 potential base stealers ... A 2011 NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete ... Went one-for-two with a walk and RBI in the SEC Tournament opening-round game against Alabama (May 12) ... Hit .357 in first collegiate weekend, adding six RBI, five runs, two doubles and two home runs ... Homered and walked twice while going one-for-two and accounting for four runs against UNLV (Feb. 11) ... Went two-for-three with two RBI and two runs scored against No. 11 Washington (Feb. 12) ... PRE-COLLEGE: Invited to the United States Junior National Team tryouts in Chula Vista, Calif. ... Enjoyed a stellar career and earned three letters behind the plate for Billy Dooley and Collins Hill High School ... Helped the Eagles battle through the losers’ bracket to win the Georgia 5A State Championship ... Hit a bases-clearing triple that ignited a four-run rally in the bottom of the sixth inning of the championship game ... Played an integral part in top-ranked Collins Hill going 35-4 and winning the program’s first Region 7-5A championship in five years ... Selected First-Team All-State and the 5A Defensive Player of the Year following senior season ... Tabbed the Region 7-5A Player of the Year, Georgia Dugout Club (GDC) 5A Player of the Year, GDC All-Star and member of the 2009 Gwinnett Daily Post Super 6 ... As a senior, hit .340 with 27 RBI and 25 runs while helping 2009 Eagles to Gwinnett County Team of the Year honors ...
