CAREER: Solid all-around runner and blocker out of the backfield has provided depth for the Bulldogs . . . Earned playing time in his first two seasons after walking on to the squad in the fall of 2009.
2011: Played in 12 out of 13 games, seeing time as a fullback and on special teams . . . Rushed twice for seven yards against Memphis . . . Carried the ball once for a yard in the SEC opener at Auburn.
2010: Played in 12 games during his redshirt freshman season, seeing action as a reserve running back and as a member of special teams . . . Carried six times for 24 yards in the season-opening win over Memphis . . . Did not receive another carry until the Gator Bowl victory over Michigan, where he rushed seven times for 24 yards . . . Credited with a seven-yard kick return in the win over Alcorn State.
2009: Sat out his true freshman season as a redshirt.
HIGH SCHOOL: Committed to the Naval Academy out of high school . . . Rated a two-star prospect coming out of the Alabama prep ranks . . . Carried 131 times for 969 yards and 10 touchdowns for Thompson High his senior year . . . President of the FCA and posted a 3.44 GPA during his senior year . . . Named a Birmingham News Scholar Athlete . . . Rushed for 1,232 yards as a junior.
