Long Beach State (2/19): Made his only appearance in relief, striking out nine in 4.0 innings of work. Northern Kentucky (2/26): Made his first start as a Bulldog, striking out five and allowing only two hits in 6.1 innings. Princeton (3/11): Worked 6.0 innings allowing two runs on six hits and compiling 10 strikeouts, the first time hitting double digit strikeouts at Mississippi State. Alabama (3/25): Struck out 7 in the win against the Crimson Tide, allowing three runs on five hits. LSU (4/8): Only allowed one run on two hits through 6.0 innings, earning 10 strikeouts. Auburn (4/15): Tallied 12 K's in 7.0 innings of work, a career high, while allowing four hits and two walks. Tennessee (5/20): Made his longest start of the year (7.2 IP), striking out 10 and only walking one.
2021 (Junior Season)
Season: Appeared in 22 games as a reliever for the Bulldogs...Posted a 4-0 win-loss record with a 3.82 ERA in 33.0 innings...Allowed 16 runs (14 earned) on 25 hits, while striking out 50 and issuing 14 walks...Held opposing hitters to a .212 average.
Southern Miss (3/3): Pitched two innings of scoreless relief while striking out six in his first appearance of the season. UL-Lafayette (3/10): Struck out four and allowed just one hit in 2.0 innings. Arkansas State (4/13): Pitched a clean inning in relief, striking out three. Ole Miss (4/16): Through 2.0 innings pitched, struck out four batters and did not allow a run to earn his first win of the season. South Carolina (5/7): Pitched a scoreless inning of relief while allowing a hit in MSU's win over the Gamecocks. Missouri (5/13): Collected six strikeouts and walked one to earn the win in the team’s 5-4 victory. Starkville Super Regional vs. Notre Dame (6/12): Through 2.2 innings pitched, earned the win by collecting two strikeouts, while allowing one earned run on two hits. College World Series (6/20-30): Made three appearances in Omaha, pitching a combined 8.2 innings and allowing two runs (both earned) on six hits and striking out 12 batters...Pitched a season-long 5.0 innings, collecting a season-high seven strikeouts to earn the win in the team’s 13-2 victory vs. Vanderbilt (6/29).
