Season: Appeared in 10 games making four starts … In 21.2 innings pitched struck out 22 and walked six … Ended the season with a 7.48 ERA … Pitched a season-high four innings at Texas A&M on March 21 … Tallied season-best four Ks at Florida on March 31 … Made his season debut on February 16 against Air Force.
Air Force (2/16): Didn’t walk a batter and struck out one in two innings pitched. Austin Peay (2/20): Punched out a season-high four batters in two innings of work. Southern Miss (3/5): Struck out a pair in an inning of work. Evansville (3/9): Did not allow a run in an inning pitched. LSU (3/15): Punched out one through three innings pitched. Texas A&M (3/21): Tied season-high strikeouts with four in season-long outing four innings. Florida (3/31): Second game in a row punching out four batters … Walked one Gator in 2.2 innings pitched. Georgia (4/7): In 2.2 innings of work struck out three. Ole Miss (4/14): Struck out a pair and did not surrender a walk in a pair of innings pitched. Collected a record of 1-2 on the season … Posted an ERA of 7.07 on the season … Tallied 28 strikeouts to only issuing seven walks … Picked up his first win of the season on April 25 against Ole Miss … Tallied a career-high five strikeouts in three innings of work against ULM (2/21).
ULM (2/21): Pitched three innings of work in his first game as a Bulldog and recorded two hits, one earned run and a season-high five strikeouts. Arizona State (2/25): Recorded three strikeouts and limited the Sun Devils to two hits in three innings. Lipscomb (3/10): In three innings of work against the Bison, he tallied three strikeouts. Kentucky (3/19): Struck out one as he only gave up three hits in four innings against the Wildcats. Ole Miss (4/25): Gave up one hit and one walk in two innings while striking out one in the process as he picked up his lone win of the season. Texas A&M (5/20): Picked 1.1 innings and tallied two strikeouts while not allowing a run.
