2022 SEC Spring Academic Honor Roll2022 (Junior Season)
Season: Started all 56 games as the third baseman (48) or in the outfield...Hit for a .303 batting average, good for second best on the team...Accomplished this on 64 hits, with nine doubles and nine home runs...Drove in 33 RBIs while scoring 47 runs, which was good for second best...Finished with the second best OBP (.398)...Stole 14 bases on just 16 attempts, which led the Diamond Dawgs on the season.
Long Beach State (2/18-20): Hit .400 in the opening weekend of the season while scoring four runs and stealing a base. Northern Kentucky (2/25-27): Had a 4-for-10 weekend with 5 walks and a two-run homerun. Texas Tech (3/8-9): Went 2-for-4 with an RBI in game one of the two game stand. Binghamton (3/14): Went 3-for-5 with a double and a walk, while stealing two bases and scoring one run. Georgia (3/18-20): Had a 4-for-5 day with a walk in game three, tallying two runs scored and one RBI. Southern (3/23): Went 2-for-2 on the day with a walk, also including a two-run home run and a stolen base. Alabama (3/25-27): Hit two doubles and scored one run in a 3-for-5 day in game two. Memphis (3/29): Went 2-for-3 with 3 RBIs by way of a two-run home run and a SAC fly, while also reaching on a walk and stealing one base. UT Martin (4/5): Stole three bases on a 1-for-1 day with a walk, RBI, and two scored runs. LSU (4/9): Hit .400 in game two, highlighted by a solo home run. Auburn (4/14-16): Went .364 on the weekend with a two-run home run, while also reaching four times on walks and once on a HBP.
Jackson State (4/19): Went 3-for-4 on the day with a homer and two doubles, driving four runs in and scoring three. Missouri (4/29-5/1): Went 7-for-13 with two solo home runs and a double on a 4 RBI weekend. North Alabama (5/17): Went 2-for-3 in the final midweek bout, scoring 3 runs, reaching on two walks, and stealing one base.
2021 (Sophomore Season)
Season: Appeared in and started 67 games primarily at third base...Hit .264 on the season with 66 hits, 12 doubles, 12 home runs, 61 RBIs and 50 runs scored…Slugged .456 and posted an on-base percentage of .354 with 31 walks and seven hit by pitch…Led the Bulldogs with 20 stolen bases in 23 attempts.
2021 State Farm College Baseball Showdown (2/20-22): vs. Texas Tech (2/22): Notched his first base hit of the campaign after going 1-for-5 with an RBI in a win over the Red Raiders. Jackson State (2/24): Was 4-for-5 with a double, home run, stolen base and three RBIs in a midweek victory over the Tigers. Tulane (2/26-2/28): Went 2-for-4 with a home run and stolen base in a win over the Green Wave in game two of the series...Went 1-for-4 with a home run and two RBIs in State’s win in the series finale. Kent State (3/5-3/7): Hit .500 (5-for-10) in the three-game series with two doubles, a home run, six RBIs, four runs scored and three stolen bases. Eastern Michigan (3/12-3/14): Opened the series with a 2-for-4 effort at the plate with a double, three RBIs and two runs scored…Hit .333 over the course of three games with three hits, three RBIs, three runs scored, a walk and a stolen base. Samford (3/16): Was 1-for-3 with a walk, stolen base and RBI in the midweek victory. LSU (3/19-3/21): Hit 5-for-12 with a double, RBI and stolen base over the three-game series. North Alabama (3/24): During the midweek game, went 2-for-3 with two RBIs, two runs scored and a stolen base. Arkansas (3/26-3/28): Hit a solo home run in game two against the Razorbacks. Kentucky (4/1-4/3): Led off the series with a 2-for-4 night with a double, four RBIs, a stolen base and a walk. Auburn (4/9-4/11): Went 7-for-13 over the three-game road series with five RBIs, six runs scored, two home runs, three walks and two stolen bases. Ole Miss (4/16-4/18): Helped guide State to a series-opening win with a 2-for-2 effort with a home run, four RBIs and a run scored. UAB (4/20): Went 1-for-3, drove in three runs with a double and a stolen base in a midweek victory over the Blazers. Vanderbilt (4/23-25): Tallied a double and a walk in a 1-for-3 effort in a game two victory over the Commodores. Texas A&M (4/30-5/1): Went 3-for-9 with six walks in a three-game sweep over the Aggies. South Carolina (5/7-5/9): Went 3-for-4 with double, four RBIs, a walk and a run scored in game one of the series. Missouri (5/13-5/15): Led off the series with a 1-for-4 effort at the plate with an RBI and run scored…Had two walks and a stolen base in game two vs. Missouri. Alabama (5/20-5/22): Combined to go 3-for-9 with a double, home run and RBI in the final two games to clinch the series sweep. Starkville Regional (6/4-6/7): Combined to go 5-for-13 with two home runs, two doubles, two stolen bases and seven RBIs over three games. Starkville Super Regional vs. Notre Dame (6/12-6/14): Drove in three RBIs over the three-game series in a 5-for-12 combined effort at the plate to help send the Bulldogs to their 12th College World Series. College World Series (6/20-6/30): Went 4-for-27 with six walks, six runs scored, three RBIs and a home run, while also stealing two bases in three attempts during Mississippi State’s College World Series championship run.
2020 (Freshman Season)
