CAREER: Skilled defensive back from the junior college ranks provided depth to the secondary in 2011 . . . Has played in all 13 games since arriving in Starkville . . . Previously played at Itawamba [Miss.] Community College.
2011: Played in all 12 regular season games and the Music City Bowl, seeing time on kickoff and punt coverage and in a reserve role at defensive back . . . Totaled 23 tackles, 1.0 tackles for loss, four pass breakups, a forced fumble and an interception returned for a touchdown . . . Collected three tackles in his Bulldog debut at Memphis . . . Played his best game for the Maroon and White at Georgia, notching three tackles, 1.0 tackles for loss, a forced fumble and a 72-yard interception return for a touchdown, the 10th-longest pick-six in school history . . . Totaled six tackles and a pass breakup in the homecoming win against UT Martin . . . Credited with four tackles and a quarterback hurry at No. 6 Arkansas . . . Registered two tackles and two pass breakups in the win over rival Ole Miss in the Battle for the Golden Egg.

Also voted first-team All-Region 23 by the national coaches . . . Collected 27 tackles and forced one fumble on defense . . . Also caught three passes for 63 yards including a 43-yard touchdown . . . JC Grid Wire named him to their preseason All-America second team, and Mississippi Gridiron Magazine tabbed him All-MACJC prior to the campaign . . . As a freshman recognized as first-team All-State and All-Region 23 at cornerback and a second-team All-State kick returner . . . HIGH SCHOOL: Mississippi State first signed him out of Brunswick, Ga., HS where he was an all-state running back and defensive back . . . Named All-State by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution at defensive back following his senior season . . . Also chosen for the Georgia North-South All Star Game . . . Rushed for over 1,300 yards and 15 touchdowns in the 2008 season . . . Intercepted six passes with two touchdown returns . . . Junior season was shortened by a torn MCL after he had rushed for 562 yards and six touchdowns in just five games . . . As a sophomore he put up 1,127 yards on 142 rushes with 13 touchdowns . . .
