STARKVILLE – Mississippi State women's basketball will play their first SEC road game of the season when they travel to Norman to take on the eighth-ranked Oklahoma Sooners. Tipoff is set for 2 p.m. on SEC Network+.

- Mississippi State extended their winning streak to 10 games after taking the SEC opener over the Auburn Tigers, 75-53.
- The Bulldogs held Auburn to their second lowest point total this season.
- Trayanna Crisp tallied a season-high 17 points in her SEC debut, 13 of which came in the second half. She tied a season-high of three makes from distance.
- Madison Francis collected her fourth double-double of the season in her SEC debut. She finished with 12 points and tied her season-high of 13 rebounds.
- Destiney McPhaul scored 14 points in the contest and led the Bulldog offense in the first half, as 10 of her 14 came in the first 20 minutes.
- Mississippi State has now won all their home games this season, extending the longest home winning streak since 2019 to 11 games.
- Mississippi State is 25-24 in conference play under Sam Purcell.
- Away from Humphrey Coliseum, State is 10-14 in conference play.

- Oklahoma opened SEC play with a 72-50 victory over Texas A&M, moving their record to 13-1 and extending their winning streak to 12 games.
- Oklahoma's one loss this season came to #3 UCLA on a neutral floor in Sacramento, California, as they dropped the contest 73-59.
- The Sooners are led by Aaliyah Chavez (19.0) and Reagan Beers (17.6), with both averaging in the top 10 in the SEC in points per game.
- Chavez is attempting the most three pointers in the SEC while shooting at a 35.1 percent clip from distance, the 10th best percentage in the conference.
- Beers is fourth in the SEC with 10.8 rebounds per game and has a nation-leading 11 double doubles in 14 games this year.
