Bulldogs Drop Road Contest To #8 Oklahoma

NORMAN, Okla. – The Mississippi State Bulldogs moved to 14-2 on Sunday after dropping their first SEC road contest to the eighth-ranked Oklahoma Sooners, 95-47.

Kharyssa Richardson led the Bulldogs in scoring with 13 points in the contest, shooting 7-8 from the free throw line, along with five rebounds. This was Richardson's fourth performance in double figures. Destiney McPhaul finished with eight. Madison Francis and Favour Nwaedozi both led the team with seven rebounds.

The Bulldogs will be back in action this Thursday when they welcome #23 Tennessee to Humphrey Coliseum. Tipoff is set for 6:30 p.m. on SECN+.
