Bulldogs pick up third straight comeback victory in as many games
Larry led the bats for the Diamond Dawgs as he finished 3-for-4, with two homers and a double. Larry and Slate Alford led the team with 3 RBIs apiece tonight after Alford hit a bases-clearing double in the fifth. Kellum Clark and Colton Ledbetter finished with two hits in four plate appearances, with both reaching on one walk. David Mershon and Dakota Jordan found themselves on base three times with one hit and two walks.
KC Hunt ate up the middle innings after entering in relief in the fourth. He finished with a career-high eight strikeouts after working 4.2 innings. Hunt held the Aggies to just one earned run in his appearance. Nate Dohm was awarded his sixth victory on the season after he entered in the ninth. Dohm kept A&M off the board, while picking up two strikeouts.
The Bulldogs and Aggies are back in action for game two of the series tomorrow. First pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m. on the SECN+.
Kellum Clark singled up the middle, sending Dakota Jordan to third, who then scored on a throwing error.
