
Bulldogs Conclude The Crimson Tide Invitational

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Mississippi State track and field posted a trio of first place finishes including eight top 5 finishes at the Crimson Tide Invitational on Saturday at the Sam Bailey Track & Field Stadium.

In the long jump, Asia Poe started the day by finishing first with a mark of 6.02m (19'9"). Poe also secured a third place finish in the women's high jump with a mark of 1.70m (5'7"), while Miranda Tillery came in fifth with a score 1.65 (5'5").

Rosealee Cooper won the women's 100m hurdles while also securing a personal season-best with a time of 13.31. Jessicka Woods placed fourth in women's 400m hurdles with a time of 1:00.00 while on the men's side Alfonso Hale Jr. had a career best with a time of 51.47.

On the track, Lee Eppie set a career-best with a time of 45.89 to finish first in the men's 400m, while Kamaya Debose-Epps placed third in the women's 100m with a time of 11.65. Maci Mills came in fourth place with a time 2:13.85 for a career-best in the women's 800m.

Maddy Kish impressed in the pole vault, jumping 4.07m (13'4.25") for a second place finish with Emma Hunt following behind with a third place finish of the same mark as Kish.
