2022 Outdoor Season
Won the discus throw at the Bulldog Relays, earning a new personal best of 59.54m (3/23-26)... At the LSU Battle on the Bayou, came in third place in the hammer throw to earn a new personal best of 60.56m (4/2)... Finished in fourth in the discus throw at the Joe Walker Invitational to achieve a new personal best of 50.88 (4/8-9)... At the UF Tom Jones Memorial, placed ninth in the discus throw to earn a new personal best of 52.68m and placed eighth in the hammer throw to earn a new personal best of 60.76m (4/15-16)... Won the hammer throw at 58.92m at the Maroon and White Invitational (4/29-30)...At the SEC Outdoor Championships, Pepper placed 15th in the discus throw at 49.64m and 12th in the hammer throw at 57.84m (5/12-5/14)...Placed 33rd in the hammer throw at the NCAA East Preliminary with a throw of 59.
2022 Indoor Season
Finished eighth in the weight throw at the UAB Blazer Invitational (1/14)... Placed second in the weight throw at the Samford Open (1/22)... Achieved a new personal best in the weight throw, finishing fifth with 18.49m at the Music City Challenge (2/11-12).
2021 Outdoor Season
Competed in the hammer throw and the discus at the Bulldog Relays, finishing in 4th for the discus at 45.65m (3/26-27) ... At the Florida Relays, he finished 13th in the Hammer at 53.54m, making him fifth all-time at State; also competed in the discus (4/2) ... Came in seventh in the hammer with a new PR of 56.53m, moving into the No. 3 spot all-time at MSU, as well as a PR in the discus of 47.25, tying for 13th at the War Eagle Invitational (4/16-17) ... Threw to a second-place finish in the discus making him the freshman record holder for MSU with a personal-best 49.79m throw; also had a fifth-place finish in the hammer with a new PR of 58.37m, updating the freshman record and keeping him in third all-time at State (4/30) ... Spent one year at South Alabama ... Graduated in 2019 from Simpson County Academy where he was coached by Dan Napier ... A part of two State Champion Track and Field squads, Simpson winning in both 2018 and 2019 ... A 4A State Champion in both shot put and discus in 2018 and 2019 ... Set school records in both shot put (55'8") and discus (178'10") ... A member of the Clarion Ledger's All-State Team in 2018 after recording the top discus throw among high schoolers in Mississippi ... Named All-State by the Clarion Ledger again in 2019 after recording both the top discus and shot put throws in the state ... Also played football for Simpson as a defensive lineman, earning All-District MVP in 2019 and being a part of the All-District Team in 2017, 2018 and 2019 ... His team went to the State Championships in both 2018 and 2019 ... Also played basketball on the 4A State Champion team ... He was the AAU National Champion in discus in 2019, and AAU All-American shot put in 2019 after coming in fourth place ... A USATF All-American after placing sixth in the discus in 2018.Personal
