Dawgs Fall in Series Finale to Vanderbilt

Clark, Hancock and Hujsak all had a home run for the Dawgs
STARKVILLE – The Mississippi State Bulldogs fell in the series finale to No. 4 Vanderbilt, 11-7, on Sunday afternoon at Dudy Noble Field. The Bulldogs had five players with at least one hit.
The Diamond Dawgs took an early lead in the first inning when Colton Ledbetter scored on a Bryce Chance double to center. Chance went 2-for-4 on the day with one RBI. MSU had three home runs on the day by Kellum Clark, Luke Hancock and Connor Hujsak. Hujsak had a season-high three RBIs.
The Bulldogs will return to action on Tuesday when they face Samford at Dudy Noble Field. First pitch is set for 6 p.m., and the game will be broadcast on SECN+.
