Three Bulldogs Earn Academic All-District Honors

STARKVILLE – Mississippi State volleyball saw Lauren Myrick, Gabby Waden and Rebecca Walk named to College Sports Communicators' 2022-23 Academic All-District team on Tuesday.
Myrick has started all 26 matches this season, while sporting a 3.59 GPA in marketing during her undergrad career.
Waden has also appeared in all 26 matches this season for the Bulldogs. She boast a 3.80 in her master's degree, where she is studying sport administration.
Walk has appeared in 14 matches this season and is the third student-athlete to be selected for the honor. She has possess a 3.84 GPA while studying finance.
The three will now move onto the national ballot for the Academic All-America teams, which will be announced on Dec. 21. Three Bulldogs have been named Academic All-Americans in MSU volleyball history, with Kayla Woodard the last to do so in 2010.
