KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Mississippi State's volleyball team faced Tennessee in Knoxville and was defeated by the Volunteers [25-10, 25-14, 25-17] during Saturday evening's action inside the Joan Cronan Volleyball Center.

Gabby Waden tallied a team-leading 11 kills, while Lauren Myrick issued six kills on a .313 hitting clip and a team-leading nine digs.

Francesca McBride garnered a season-high five kills, while adding two digs and one block.

Gabby Coulter and Emily Oerther combined for 17 assists and seven digs. Coulter also added a kill on the afternoon.

Libero Lilly Gunter earned seven digs on State's back row.

The Bulldogs are back in action on Nov. 20 for another match against Tennessee. First serve is set for 11 a.m. CT and will be aired nationally on SEC Network.
