STARKVILLE – The Mississippi State volleyball team dropped a four-set match to No. 19 Kentucky on Friday night in the Newell-Grissom Building.

The Bulldogs took the first set 25-23, but the Wildcats came back to take the next three sets [25-21, 25-20, 25-15].

Gabby Waden issued 16 kills and 13 digs to earn her fourth double-double of the season. Waden also added four blocks and an ace.

Freshman Sophie Agee tacked on a career-high 10 kills, while adding three digs, one block and one assists. Lauren Myrick issued 10 digs, nine kills, and an assist on the night.

Sania Petties recorded seven kills and one block, while Deja Robinson added six kills and team-leading five blocks.

Gabby Coulter tallied 35 assists, seven digs and one kill.

Lilly Gunter sprawled out for 25 digs, while adding six assists and an ace.
