October 13, 2022 | Volleyball
STARKVILLE – Mississippi State volleyball hosts No. 13 Florida for a pair of matches at the Newell-Grissom Building on Oct. 14-15.
First serve on Friday is set for 8 p.m. CT and will be aired on SEC Network. Saturday's match will begin at 5 p.m. and will be televised on SEC Network+. Both matches will be available through live stats on StatBroadcast.
"It's always great to be playing at home and I hope that our fans will help us pack the Griss as we welcome the Gators to StarkVegas," head coach Julie Darty Dennis said. "We have had a nice week of practice to prepare for Florida and they are an extremely tough team and are ranked in the top 25 for a reason. I say it all the time, but I will say it again – this league is extremely tough, and we know we will have to be playing our best volleyball to have success against a tough opponent. I am hoping that we can get into a rhythm early and just stay focused on executing our game plan with each point. We are looking forward to the opportunity to compete."
