The Crimson Tide is ranked 41st in the country as a team. Individually, UA's pair of Loudmilla Bencheikh and Moka Ito are ranked 74th nationally as a doubles tandem.
Alabama owns a 36-17 advantage over State all-time, but MSU has claimed five of the last six meetings between the programs, including this year's regular season meeting. The Bulldogs traveled to Tuscaloosa on March 13, defeating the Crimson Tide in a thrilling 4-3 decision.
Last Time Out
State dropped its final two matches of the regular season – a 4-3 heartbreaker to No. 23 Kentucky (April 8) and 4-0 to No. 21 Vanderbilt (April 10).
Next Up For MSU
If the Bulldogs defeat the Crimson Tide in the first round of the SEC Championship Monday, State will move on to the second round where they will take on fifth-seeded and 15th-ranked Tennessee on Tuesday at Noon CT.
