May 19, 2026 | Women's Tennis
STARKVILLE – Mississippi State women's tennis head coach Chris Hooshyar announced the signing of Lauren Seye for the upcoming 2026-27 season. Seye is joining the Bulldogs after spending her freshman season at the University of Central Florida.
Seye, a native of Drongen, Belgium, becomes the first signee for Mississippi State's 2026 women's tennis signing class.
After joining the Knights for the 2025-26 season, Seye became a mainstay in UCF's lineup. She posted a singles record of 19-11 while playing at #5 and #6. In doubles, playing primarily at the #2 spot, she compiled a 21-10 record. During the season, she earned a career-high doubles ranking of #50 in the Nov. 25, 2025 poll.
Seye helped UCF win its second consecutive Big 12 crown in 2026, while also earning the program's 11th NCAA Tournament bid.
