Broska, Malesevic Set For ITA All-American

TULSA, Okla., - Mississippi State will be well represented in the main draw of the ITA All-American this week.
No. 27 Florian Broska and No. 36 Nemanja Malesevic will be in singles action starting on Wednesday at the University of Tulsa.
"'Flo' and 'Memo' are excited for this week at All-Americans in Tulsa and they have definitely earned the opportunity to play here in the main draw," said MSU assistant coach Jake Jacoby. "It's all about belief and mental toughness in great events like these and it will be a fun, invaluable experience for sure with great matches to come."
Broska hits the court first bright and early Wednesday morning at 9 against Trey Hilderbrand, a junior from Central Florida. Broska posted a perfect 3-0 singles record during the MSU Bulldog Invitational over the weekend.
Malesevic matches up against an SEC foe in his draw at 1 p.m. The sophomore from Bosnia and Herzegovina meets Kentucky's 6-foot-7 junior Gabriel Diallo, who is currently ranked 13th nationally.
Malesevic might be able to get a good scouting report on Diallo from Broska. Broska battled Diallo in Lexington last spring, splitting sets 5-7, 7-5 before their match was suspended.
Malesevic went 2-1 in singles during the MSU Bulldog Invitational.
