Mississippi State and Texas Tech meet for two-game series at MGM Park in Biloxi
STARKVILLE – A top-15 showdown in Biloxi will see the No. 13 Mississippi State baseball program face off with No. 2 Texas Tech at MGM Park on Tuesday (March 10) and Wednesday (March 11) evening.

The Diamond Dawgs (10-4) are coming off of a three-game sweep of Quinnipiac, while the Red Raiders (16-1) have won 12 straight games entering the midweek series, including a sweep of Rice to close out week four.

This will be the second straight season State and Tech will meet on the diamond, as the two programs faced off at the Frisco Classic in Frisco, Texas during the third week of the 2019 season. MSU claimed a 4-2 win in that contest.

Mississippi State returns to the coast for the third time since 2016, owning a 1-1 record. The Maroon and White beat ULM, 1-0, in 2016 and fell to Southeastern Louisiana, 11-5, in 2018. MGM Park was opened for the 2015 Biloxi Shuckers season – the team's first in the Magnolia State – as the Double A affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers relocated to the coast from Huntsville, Alabama.
