No. 25 MSU Women’s Tennis Closes Road Swing At No. 47 LSU Sunday

STARKVILLE, Miss. – Looking to bounce back after a tough loss Friday, the 25th-ranked Mississippi State's women's tennis team (14-6, 5-4 SEC) concludes its current four-match road swing at No. 47 LSU (12-6, 3-5 SEC) for a Sunday afternoon matchup. The match is slated for Noon CT at the LSU Tennis Complex.
Last Time Out for MSU…
The Bulldogs could not overcome the early lead established by Texas A&M Friday in College Station, falling in a 4-1 decision. The loss snapped a program-best, five-match conference win streak for MSU.
Senior Khrystyna Vozniak provided the lone point for State with a straight-set triumph at No. 6 to improve to 11-2 in dual match action.
About LSU…
LSU fell in a 4-2 decision to No. 16 Ole Miss Friday in Baton Rouge in their most recent outing. The Tigers boast three nationally-ranked singles players in No. 62 Elyse Lavender, No. 80 Jessica Golovin and No. 120 Eden Richardson. In doubles, Golovin pairs with Richardson to form the nation's 27th-ranked doubles tandem.
