No. 24 MSU Women’s Tennis Travels To No. 46 Arkansas Sunday

STARKVILLE, Miss. – Looking to extend a four-match league winning streak, the 24th-ranked Mississippi State's women's tennis team (13-5, 4-3 SEC) continues its current road swing at No. 46 Arkansas (5-10, 1-5 SEC) for a Sunday afternoon matchup. The match is slated for 1 p.m. CT at UA's George M. Billingsley Tennis Center.
Last Time Out for MSU…
Despite dropping the doubles point, the Bulldogs were able to rally back with four three-set singles victories to post a 4-1 triumph against Missouri in the first half of this weekend's road trip Friday night.
MSU true freshman Magda Adaloglou notched her second SEC singles triumph at No. 3 while senior Madison Harrison recorded her first of the season at the top spot in the lineup. Junior Janina Braun rallied from being down 4-3 and a break in the third set to win 6-4 and shift the momentum in favor of the Bulldogs with a 3-1 lead. Quickly becoming the norm for the Maroon & White, the reigning SEC Player of the Week Anastasia Rentouli posted yet another third-set victory to clinch and secure the 4-1 triumph for the Bulldogs.

Arkansas is coming off of a tough 4-1 loss to No. 11 Ole Miss in Fayetteville Friday in their most recent outing. The Razorbacks boast two ranked singles players in No. 55 Giulia Pairone and No. 76 Ana Oparenovic. In doubles Oparenovic pairs with Tatum Rice to form the nation's 40th-ranked tandem while Rice also teams with Jackie Carr for the 59th-ranked duo.
