Carr is Honored for a second time with a spot on the 2018 SEC Community Service Team

Carr Named to 2018 SEC Volleyball Community Service Team

STARKVILLE – Giving back to her hometown comes naturally for senior outside hitter Khristian Carr as she was named to the 2018 SEC Community Service Team.
Carr was also a recipient of the same award in 2016.
While living her dream if playing on the court, she is also taking advantage of her free time to give back to her community through volunteering. Carr has given back to her community in many ways, such as, lending a helping hand at the Palmer Home for Children, Operation Gratitude and National Girls and Women in Sports Day youth event.
She has volunteered at vacation bible school, lent a hand at the health fair and attended Mississippi State M-Club Meetings. Carr is also a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. Her volunteering efforts as a sophomore earned her a spot on the 2016 SEC Community Service Team.
This season, the Starkville native notched 147 kills and tallied 23 blocks for the Maroon and White.
Carr will graduate in May 2019 with a degree in communications and a concentration in broadcasting.
