STARKVILLE, Miss. – With the 2017 season complete, 18 current and four future Mississippi State Bulldogs will continue their growth and development by participating in summer baseball leagues across the country.
The 23 Diamond Dawgs will span nine leagues and 13 teams before reporting to Starkville for the 2017 fall semester.

- Jake Mangum kicked off his summer with the Hyannis Harbor Hawks batting .379 with a double, three RBIs and five stolen bases. The Bulldog center fielder had multiple hits in each of his first five games.
- Hunter Stovall has also put out a great start for the Harbor Hawks, batting .319 and walking three times.
- In seven games with the Green Bay Bullfrogs, Tanner Poole has collected five doubles, a triple, six RBIs and two stolen bases while posting a .308 clip. In his debut, Poole was Green Bay's Player of the Day as he hit two doubles, a triple and brought home three runners.
- Harrison Bragg hit a game-tying three-run home run on Sunday in his first at-bat for the Victoria HarbourCats.
- In 8 games with the Elmira Pioneers, future Bulldog Marshall Gilbert posts a .290 batting average with two doubles and five RBIs.
- Incoming Freshman Rowdy Jordan has collected four doubles and eight RBIs for Terre Haute, batting .320 for the summer.
