STARKVILLE, Miss. – Returning to SEC country, the Mississippi State men's golf team travels to Auburn to play in the Tiger Invitational.
The three-day, 54-hole event begins Sunday at the par-72 Grand National Lake course in Opelika, Ala. MSU is set to tee off at 7:30 a.m.
"We look to bounce back this week and play like the team I know we are," MSU coach Clay Homan said. "We will face a good field with several teams vying for post season play."
Along with the Bulldogs, the 19-team features Kennesaw State, Missouri, James Madison, West Virginia, Charlotte, Troy, Minnesota, UNCW, Georgia State, South Alabama, Maryland, Louisville, UNCG, Kansas State, Arkansas State, Samford, Davidson and host Auburn.
Freshman Peng Pichaikool leads the Bulldog lineup with Jackson Dick, Taylor Grant, Ben Follett-Smith and Ross Bell filling out the rest of the scorecard.
"It is a great opportunity for us to get the ball rolling in the right direction as we head into the last few tournaments of the year," Homan said.
