Confident Bulldogs Look For 3-0 Start

STARKVILLE, Miss. – Not since the 2014-15 campaign has Mississippi State been 3-0. However, that could all change on Monday when Green Bay makes its first visit to Humphrey Coliseum.

The 7 p.m. game will be televised on the SEC Network+, with Bart Gregory and Charlie Winfield handling the broadcast. The game can also be heard on the MSU radio network with Neil Price and Richard Williams.

This game is part of the Hoops in the Heartland event, which benefits the non-profit organization, Men Against Breast Cancer.

LAST TIME OUT
MSU easily defeated Florida A&M, 79-48.

Ben Howland enters his third year at MSU and 22^nd overall. As head coach in four different stops, he is 433-239 with 32-33 mark with the Bulldogs. Linc Darner is in his third year with Florida A&M and owns a 42-28ledger. Overall, he's 335-145 in 16 years.

Abdul Ado also earned his first start and totaled 12 points, 7 rebounds and 3 blocked shots in 23 minutes of action.
Schnider Herard came off the bench to total a career-best 6 blocked shots, the most since Aric Holman had 5 last year against Northwestern State.
As a team, Mississippi State totaled 13 blocks, the most since also having 13 against Arkansas on Jan. 14, 2010.
In their two wins, the Bulldogs' average margin of victory has been 29.5 points.
With a win against Green Bay, third-year coach Ben Howland would reach the .500 mark at MSU.
