TULSA, Okla. – After concluding qualifying play at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association All-American Championships on Tuesday, four members of the Mississippi State men's tennis team are set for the main draw of the collegiate major beginning on Thursday.

State's No. 2-ranked Nuno Borges and rising sophomore Giovanni Oradini will take the court in the 64-player singles draw, while the seventh-ranked Bulldog tandem of Niclas Braun and Trevor Foshey will start action in the 32-team doubles draw.

The junior All-American Borges, also the No. 2 seed this weekend in singles, will be playing in his first collegiate tournament since advancing to the semifinals of the 2017 NCAA Singles Championship this past May. Last fall in Tulsa, Borges reached the semifinals of the tournament's main draw consolation bracket by claiming three-straight ranked victories. He will face 101st-ranked Walker Duncan of Georgia in his opening round match at Noon Thursday. Duncan earned a main draw bid through qualifying this week.

Oradini earned a spot in the main draw after battling his way through the qualifying draw Monday and Tuesday, winning three consecutive ranked battles. The sophomore is currently 6-1 on the year, with all of his victories coming against ranked foes. Oradini will get a big challenge in his first-round match Thursday when he faces the tournament's top seed – Ohio State's No. 1-ranked Mikael Torpegaard – at 9 a.m.

Braun and Foshey, a 5-8 alphabetical seed in doubles, will team up for the first time this fall after posting a 20-14 overall record in 2016-17, including a 7-3 mark in fall play. The pair also reached the Round of 16 in the 2017 NCAA Doubles Championship to end the campaign. The Bulldog duo kicks off action at 1 p.m. Thursday, facing North Florida's 23rd-ranked pair of Jefta Kecic and Lasse Muscheites.
