STARKVILLE, Miss. – After a great weekend at the ITA Southern Regional Championships, the Mississippi State women's tennis wraps up the 2017 fall slate at the Roberta Alison Fall Classic this weekend. The tournament is hosted by the University of Alabama. Play will begin on Friday, October 27.
The first round of doubles is set to start on Friday at 9 a.m., followed by the first round of singles. The second round of singles will take place after lunch. Looking for another strong weekend, MSU's Sara Lizariturry is coming off a semifinal finish at the ITA Southern Regionals, with one ranked win to her credit. Also posting a strong finish at the ITA Southern Regionals, Bulldog Janina Braun posted a 3-1 record in the singles main draw.

Juniors Caroline Kelly and Anastasia Rentouli each posted two victories over the weekend to up their singles records 6-4 and 5-3, respectively. Senior Khrystyna Vozniak looks to continue a two-match winning streak heading into the weekend.
