MSU Volleyball Assistant Coach Craig Bere Named Head Coach at Southern Indiana

Bere, a native of Louisville, Ky., and a 1995 graduate of Morehead (Ky.) State University, served as an assistant volleyball coach on Brenda Bowlin's Mississippi State staff since 1997.
"Craig has prepared himself well for this opportunity to become a head coach," said Bowlin. "We appreciate his hard work and dedication to Mississippi State volleyball over the past five seasons and wish him every success at Southern Indiana."
Bere will assume his new post July 1.
"We are eager to see Coach Bere continue the excitement this program has generated the last few seasons," said Jon Mark Hall, USI Director of Athletics. "He has demonstrated the ability to teach the game and place the student athlete in a position to succeed on the court and in the classroom."
