Volleyball Bulldogs Host Spring Exhibition Tournament

STARKVILLE, Miss. -- Mississippi State's Volleyball Bulldogs join the Super Bulldog Weekend today with a trio of matches in the 2002 Mississippi State Spring Volleyball Tournament Saturday at the Newell-Grissom Building. The tournament is the second of three spring events and only home appearance for the MSU volleyball squad.
Coach Brenda Bowlin's squad hosts Mississippi at 9 a.m., Tulane at 1:30 p.m. and Samford at 4:30 p.m. in the round-robin event. There is no charge for admission and the public is invited to preview the 2002 MSU volleyball team and changes in NCAA volleyball rules during the exhibition tournament.
In the other tourney pairings, Samford takes on Tulane at 10:30 a.m., Mississippi meets Samford at noon, and Mississippi tests Tulane at 3 p.m.
