Lady Dogs' Harper Garners All-America Honors

"We are really pleased with the performances Camille (Harper) and Elisha (Williams) gave us," Schmidt said. "It was a good weekend for us. We were the sixth-best SEC team at the championships, and that is a very good accomplishment."
Williams took fifth place in the long jump at Hayward Field to become the first Lady Bulldog to earn all-America status both indoors and outdoors. The Milton, Fla., native took second place at the NCAA Indoor Championships earlier this season to claim the Lady Bulldogs' first indoor all-America accolades.
Harper acquired the first all-America honors of her career with an eighth-place showing in the 100m last weekend at the Oregon-hosted meet. The Clinton, Miss., native combined with Williams to give State's women two all-Americans in the same season for the first time in school history.
