
Johnson Shines In Career Debut At David Toms Invitational

The Mississippi State men's golf team carded a 597 to earn a Top 10 spot and is poised to make a climb up the leaderboard with 18 holes remaining.
Oklahoma is currently atop the leaderboard after 5-under and 2-under performances on the day. Sooner Michael Schoolcraft is currently the tournament leader with a 6-under-par 138.
Alex Rowland finished the two-round day just outside the Top 25 with back-to-back 74's, while Chad Ramey turned in a 73 before struggling in the second round with a 78.
Ramey currently owns the SEC's top scoring clip among underclassmen at 70.33.
Senior Lee Heaton and redshirt freshman Tyler Smith rounded out the Bulldogs' day with a 152 and 159, respectively.
