Junior Season (2012-2013):
Won his first tournament as a Bulldog after beating the field with a 3-under, 213 at the Tiger Invitational…Was named a First Team All-SEC member following his successful junior campaign, becoming the first Bulldog to garner the honor since 2000… Ramey claimed SEC Player of the Week on March 13th…His 71.88 stroke average ranked second all-time in MSU history… Along with teammate Joe Sakulpolphaisan, he played in all 12 regular-season tournaments.
Sophomore Season (2011-2012):
Fired a career-low 65 at the Sam Hall Intercollegiate, which ranks eighth all-time among MSU golfers... Had a Top 15 finish in 7 of his 10 tournaments played in the 2011-2012 regular season... Compiled the sixth-lowest stroke average (72.50) in school history for the 2011-12 season... Finished seventh-place with a 1-under-par 209 card at the 2012 SEC Championship...Competed at the 2012 NCAA Athens Regional to become the first Bulldog since 2005 to participate in post-season play as an individual... Became the first golfer in Maroon and White to be named to the All-SEC second-team since 2000.
Freshman Season (2010-2011):
Appeared in a team-best 10 tournament and 29 rounds ... Owned two of the four Top 10 finishes posted by the Bulldogs, including a tie for fifth in the Sam Hall Intercollegiate to open the season ... Carded State's best average scoring clip at 73.1 per 18 holes and 219.1 per 58 holes ... Posted season-best round (68) and tournament (208) his first time on the course in the Maroon and White at the Sam Hall Intercollegiate ... Led the squad in second- and third-round scoring with a 72.6 and 72.7, respectively.
Prior to MSU:
Was a USGA Junior Amateur qualifier after a first place finish in a tournament in Murfeesboro, Tenn. ... Was the champion at the Mississippi Boys Junior Amateur in Gulfport, Miss. ... Individual state champion for three years in a row (2007-10) and was a part of three state championship efforts for Itawamba Agricultural High School (2007-10).
