
Pair Of Tennis Bulldogs Active At Crimson Tide Fall Championship

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - A pair of Bulldogs on the Mississippi State men's tennis team competed at the Crimson Tide Fall Championship today in Tuscaloosa, Ala.
Senior Max Gregor and junior Hrehan Hakeem were both active for the Maroon and White playing in separate draws. Hakeem served up against Bazarnik Blake of Vanderbilt in the Stabler Draw, while Gregor faced
Vanderbilt's Bryant Salcedo in the quarterfinals of the Stallings Draw after receiving a first round bye. Hakeem fell in straight sets to Blake, 6-2, 7-5, while Gregor was also handed a two-set loss, 6-0, 6-1.
In doubles action Gregor and Hakeem participated in the Crimson Draw and faced Matt Dooley and Michael Moore of Notre Dame. Gregor and Hakeem took down Dooley and Moore, 8-6, to advance to the round of 16 in the Crimson Draw.
