
State Tennis Completes Play At Crimson Tide Fall Championship

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - A pair of Bulldogs from the Mississippi State men's tennis team completed tournament action at the Crimson Tide Fall Championship on Saturday in Tuscaloosa, Ala.
In doubles action in the Crimson Draw, Bulldog tandem senior Max Gregor and junior Hrehan Hakeem won in the round of 16, taking down Adam Donaldson and Robert Hall of Louisville, 9-7. In quarterfinals action, State's tandem was defeated by Vanderbilt's Charlie Jones and Alex Zotov in a very tight match, 9-7, eliminating the Bulldogs from doubles action.
Gregor was active in consolation play but dropped a tight three-set battle, 4-6, 6-4, 1-0(9), to Paul Boslet of Radford.
Currently, MSU's roster is split with the remaining Bulldogs competing in the Pensacola Futures in Pensacola, Fla., which will conclude State's fall season.
