JUNIOR (2010-11):
In his second season with the Maroon and White, will be looked at more as a regular contributor during the promising season for MSU.
FALL - In his second fall with the Bulldogs, posted a .500 record in singles (3-3) and doubles (3- 3)... Made his season debut at the Southern Intercollegiate Championship in Athens, Ga. ... Finished the tournament with a record of 1-1 in singles play that included a straight-set victory to open the season and a hard-fought three-set loss in the third round of the Division II singles draw... Picked up two solid victories at the ITA Southern Regional Championships in singles and picked up an opening round victory in doubles... Was active for the Maroon and White at the Crimson Tide Fall Championship where he played one singles match and reeled off two doubles victories along with teammate Max Gregor.
SOPHOMORE (2009-10):
As the lone newcomer to youthful Bulldog lineup, appeared in four dual matches and was the matchclinching point on the road against South Florida.
FALL - Totaled six wins in his opening campaign with MSU... Opened his career with two straight wins at the Gator Invitational... Put together three straight wins over the stretch of the Seminole Invitational and ITA Southern Regional, including victories in his first two matches at the ITA Southern Regional... Ended the season with a two-set take down over Arkansas' Nicholas Spinazze at the Virginia Tech Challenge.
SPRING - Tallied one spring victory, but made sure it counted because it was the matchclinching point for the Bulldogs on the road against the South Florida Bulls... Won in straight-sets at the No. 6 position to give MSU the victory.
PRE-MSU:
Was the Indian International Tennis Federation Guwahati singles champion in December 2007... Advanced to the semifinals in singles at the New Zealand Canterbury ITF and doubles runner-up in the Oceana Closed Invitational.
PERSONAL:
Hrehan Hakeem was born May 1, 1990 in Darwin Australia... He is the son of Shaik and Jaya Hakeem... He enjoys the beach, surfing, rock-climbing, and is a huge fan of football... Pursuing a degree in business.
