Prior to College
High School: A four-year starter under head coach Heidi Zickgraf at Delta High School… Finished her career with 1,513 digs (3.7 per set), 168 service aces and 156 assists, while leading DHS to over 100 victories in her four seasons… Twice named first-team all-state… As a senior, led her program to a 29-4 finish and wrapped up first-team honors on the county, conference and state level… Named to the Indiana North All-Star Team… Put up career highs in digs (445), digs per set (4.5) and assists (63) along with 41 aces during her senior campaign… Had her breakout year in her junior campaign, reeling off 418 digs (3.8 per set), 47 aces and 46 assists, leading the Eagles 24-11 finish… Selected All-Delaware County first team, All-Hoosier Heritage Conference first team and All-State first team by the Indiana High School Volleyball Coaches Association after her junior season… Paced DHS to a 26-6 record with 348 digs (3.5 per set), 39 aces and 36 assists in her sophomore season… Began her high school career with 302 digs (3.8 per set), 41 aces and 11 assists, leading the Eagles to a 30-5 record and a section championship… Also a star in the classroom, landing on the All-Academic Hoosier Heritage Conference first team four times… Twice earned Indiana Academic All-State honors, landing first team laurels as a junior and honorable mention as a senior.
Club: Played for coach Mike Lingenfelter and the Munciana Volleyball Club… An All-American on the club scene… Led her squad to the 2017 AAU 18U Open National Championship… After an eighth-place finish at AAU Nationals in 2015 in the 16 U Open Gold Division, helped her team to the AAU Team Final Four in the 17U Open Gold Division… Earned AAU 17U Open All-America honors at libero… Led her squad to back-to-back seventh-place finishes at AAU Nationals in Orlando… Paced her club to a national runner-up finish in the Gold Division of the AAU 15 Open Nationals in 2014.

Born Gabrielle Marie Zgunda on September 23, 1998 in Muncie, Indiana… Daughter of Grant and Becky Zgunda… Has three brothers: Garrett, Graham and Grayson… Father, Grant, won over 200 games as the head football coach at Delta High School…Mother, Becky, was a field hockey student-athlete at Ball State University… Majoring in communication.
