Did not see action her freshman season due to an ACL injury suffered in high school.
HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB/INTERNATIONAL
Was a member of the Colombian U-20 National… She was one of the youngest members on the U-20 squad… Also a member of the Colombian U-17 Team in 2014…Under club coach Diego Rodriguez, won back-to-back titles for the U-17 A Elite squad in 2013-14… Won a title for the Bogota state team, while also finishing running up four times… She also participated in skating, swimming and tennis in high school.
COMMUNITY SERVICE/ACADEMICS
Taught English to children in Bogota… Participated in numerous recycling campaigns…Volunteered her time with area school kids in Starkville at carpool meet and greets… Named the “Best Graduate” of her high school in 2016… Earned the best average at the school from 2013-15… Awarded the “Environmental Conscience” accolade in 2014.

Born Angie Valentina Duque on July 15, 1998 in Bogota, Colombia… Daughter of Carlos and Mary Duque… Has two siblings, Julian and Sarah… Majoring in chemical engineering…She used to practice ballet before soccer… Chose MSU because of its great chemical engineering program and to compete in one of the best athletic conferences in the world… Her teammates would describe her as passionate, dedicated and funny… Her proudest soccer moment was when she debuted with the Colombian National Team (U-20) at the world cup qualifiers.
