Iceland: At the Icelandic Championships in Akureyri, he finished second at 74.99m (6/12) ... Competed at the European Team Championships in the Second League, finishing in fourth at 76.08m (6/20) ... Threw to a second place finish at the Karlstad Grand Prix at 76.39m (6/22) ... Came in seventh at the Kuortane Games in Finland with a throw of 77.97m (6/26).Mississippi State: At the Bulldog Relays, he won the javelin with a mark of 77.77m, making him No. 5 all-time at Mississippi State (3/27) ... Earned the SEC's Male Field Athlete of the Week honor (3/30) ... Returned to action at the SEC Championships where he finished as runner-up with a throw of 77.42m and made the All-SEC Second Team (4/13) ... Re-gained the NCAA and SEC lead at the NCAA East Prelims where he finished first with a season-best mark of 79.84m; that mark is the second-best all-time at a prelim via USTFCCCA and is also now No. 4 all-time at Mississippi State (5/26) ... At the NCAA Championships, he placed fifth to earn First Team All-American honors with a throw of 75.61m (6/9).

Earned first-team All-American honors after placing sixth in the javelin with a mark of 73.28 meters (240-5) at the NCAA Outdoor Finals… Became the first Utah State student-athlete since 2009 to garner first-team All-American honors and the school’s first All-American in the javelin since 1989… Qualified for the Outdoor Finals after finishing first in the javelin with a mark of 76.18 meters (249-11) at the NCAA West Preliminary Championships… Tabbed first-team all-Mountain West after winning the javelin title with a season-best mark of 77.19 meters (253-3), which also set a facility record, at the Outdoor Championships… Placed first in five of the six meets he competed in… Tabbed the MW Men’s Field Athlete of the Week twice during the season, once after winning the javelin title with a distance of 72.24 meters (237-0) at the UC Irvine-hosted Spring Break Collegiate Classic and again after capturing the javelin title at the UCLA-hosted Rafer Johnson/Jackie Joyner Kersey Invitational with a throw of 73.06 meters (239-8.25)… Earned academic all-MW honors.2016 Outdoor Season (at Utah State)
