FRESHMAN (2012-13)
Became one of the more consistent players for the Bulldogs, becoming a staple at the No. 6 spot... Accumulated a 21-11 overall record, going 15-5 in dual match play... Won eight-straight matches to finish the 2013 dual match season.
FALL - Ranked the 8th best newcomer in the ITA's preseason polls... Ended fall play with a 6-6 record in singles and a 5-5 individual doubles record... After dropping the first set, rallied back to defeat 71st-ranked Marton Bots of Washington in three sets at the ITA All-American Championships... Had a Round of 16 showing in the USTA/ITA Southern Regional Championships in Auburn, Ala... Earned two victories at the Bulldog Scramble in Athens, Ga., including wins against SEC foes Rens van der Vis (Alabama) and Garrett Brasseaux (Georgia)... Paired with fellow newcomer Jordan Angus, advanced to the semifinals of the Division I doubles bracket at the Southern Intercollegiate Championships, falling short in the semis to SEC foes Michael Alford and Florent Diep... Teamed with fellow freshman Stefan Vinti, the MSU duo garnered two victories in play at the Bulldog Scramble in Athens, Ga., to close out the season.
SPRING - Is currently 13-5 in dual match singles play... Earned his first career dual match singles victory when he defeated LSU's Roger Anderson 7-6(4), 1-6, 1-0(4) in the Bulldogs' 7-0 thrashing of the 25th-ranked Tigers... Defeated Auburn's Joseph Van Dooren 6-3, 7-5, en route to the Bulldogs' thrilling 4-3 victory against the No. 21 Tigers... Picked up two victories in a Sunday doubleheader, defeating South Alabama's Blake Gregor 7-6(4), 5-7, 1-0(9) and Tennessee Tech's Vasily Emereev 6-2, 1-6, 1-0(2)... Took down Samford's Garrison Laduca 7-5, 2-6, 6-1 in a 7-0 home victory against the visiting Bulldogs... Eanred his first career SEC victory with a 6-1, 7-6(1) win against Alabama's Stuart Kenyon... Earned a 6-4, 2-6, 6-4 victory against No. 7 Georgia's Garrett Brasseaux... Defeated Arkansas' Victor Hoang 6-4, 6-4 in Fayetteville... Earned his first career victory against an Ole Miss opponent, defeating the Rebels' Adrian Forberg Skogeng 6-2, 6-3 in Starkville... Strung together his third-straight straight-sets victory by defeating South Carolina's Harry Menzies, also picking up his 10th career dual match win... Won his fourth-consecutive match by defeating Florida's Gordon Watson in three sets, clinching a 4-3 comeback victory for the Bulldogs... Downed LSU's Harrison Kennedy 7-6(4), 6-1 to earn his fifth-straight match victory and his sixth win at the No. 6 spot... Defeated Austin Peay's Iago Seffrin in straight sets in the 2013 NCAA Championship First Round, helping MSU to advance on to the second round of play... Defeated Harvard's Nicholas Mahlangu in straight sets to help MSU advance to the Round of 16 for the first time since 2001... Defeated Tennessee's Ed Jones 6-2, 6-2 in a Round of 16 battle at the 2013 NCAA Team Championship. Paired with fellow freshman teammate Romain Bogaerts, have earned a 7-6 record in doubles dual match play... Earned his first dual match doubles victory in an 8-5 win against Leif Berger and Philipp Seifert of Rice... Defeated Auburn's Lukas Ollert and Joseph Van Dooren 8-3 in the championship match of the ITA Kickoff Weekend... Clinched the crucial doubles point for MSU by defeating Ole Miss' Johan Backstrom and Stefan Lindmark 8-6 in the River Hills Cup... Took down Texas A&M's duo of Jeremy Efferding and Jordan Szabo 8-4 to clinch the doubles point for the Bulldogs at the ITA National Indoors in Seattle, Wash... Defeated Ole Miss' Johan Backstrom and Stefan Lindmark in the final match of the 2013 ITA National Team Indoor Championship... Won their sixth consecutive match with an 8-6 victory against Samford's Fares Kilani and Alex Sajonz, tying the best start by an MSU doubles team since 2006, when Antonio Lastre and Daniel Sanchez started 6-0 as well... Defeated the Arkansas duo of Hall Fess and Santiago Munoz 8-6 in Fayetteville... Teamed up with senior Ethan Wilkinson late in the season and put together a 5-2 record... The duo defeated LSU's Boris Arias and Tam Trinh 8-6 to help MSU take the doubles point... Downed Texas A&M's Jeremy Efferding and Jordan Szabo 8-5 in the regular-season finale in College Station, Texas... Won their third-straight match, defeating Kentucky's Ryuji Hirooka and Beck Pennington 8-5 in a second round match in the 2013 SEC Championship in Oxford, Miss... Claimed their fourth-straight victory with an 8-3 decision agaisnt Harvard's duo of Nicky Hu and Andy Nguyen... Won their fifth-straight match by defeating Tennessee's Jarryd Chaplin and Brandon Fickey 9-8(4) in a Round of 16 battle at the 2013 NCAA Team Championship.

One of the top Brazilian players to enter the collegiate tennis system... Comes to State ranked 98th in the world junior rankings and 1,038th on the ATP Tour... Has climbed as high as 69th in the world junior rankings through his young career... Has participated in the Australian Open Juniors... The best player in Brazil in U-12, U-14 and U-16 competition.
