SOPHOMORE (2009-10):
Was limited due to injury, but will look to bounce back and perform regularly in the Bulldog spring lineup.
FALL - Only played two matches due a to a knee injury, dropping both matches before rehabbing the remainder of the term.
FRESHMAN (2008-09):
Highly touted recruit by way of Mexico, was able to play a major role for MSU in his rookie campaign.
FALL - Beginning his career with the Maroon and White, went 3-5 in singles action, including three straight wins in consolation action at the ITA Southeast Regional Indoor Championships... Went 0-1 in doubles action.
SPRING - Put together four wins in his rookie campaign with the Bulldogs, including three-straight wins to start MSU's home slate... Went 4-2 in tiebreakers... Was the match-clinching point over the Georgia State Panthers... Posted an 8-6 mark in double play for MSU.

Attended Tec Mileno High School in Monterrey, Mexico.

Daniel Juan Manuel Sanchez Martinez was born on February 4, 1989, in Saltillo, Mexico... A native of Monterrey, Mexico, is the son of Jose' Luis Sanchez Ramos and Maria de Jesus Martinez... Is the youngest of three with older brothers Jose Luis, 28, and Alejandro, 25... Enjoys the professional talents of Roger Federer and Fernando Gonzalez... Also enjoys to play golf in his spare time... Majoring in business.
