SPRING:
Started the spring being unranked, but climbed as high as No. 43 by the end of the season … Got his final season of collegiate tennis underway in singles as he clinched a match for the Bulldogs with his straight-set, 6-1, 6-3 win over Mikael Vollbach of Northern Illinois … Notched two more wins over Chattanooga’s Gabriel Castillo and Florida State’s Loris Pourroy, 7-6(5), 6-0 and 7-5, 6-3 respectively … Tallied his first ranked win as he defeated No. 47 Marcel Kamrowski of Middle Tennessee State in Murfreesboro 6-4. 4-6, 6-2 … Two weeks later, he secured a victory over another ranked opponent, No. 36 Matisse Bobichon of VCU, 6-1, 7-6(6), and clinched the match for the Bulldogs in the process … Jumped into the ITA rankings after that win at No. 95, and also clinched the match over Tulane’s Billy Suarez, 6-2, 7-6(5) … Clinched another match for the Maroon and White against Stefan Latinovic of LSU, 5-7, 6-4, 6-4 … Recorded another ranked win when he ousted No. 57 Danil Panarin of Vanderbilt, 6-3, 6-3… Defeated two ranked SEC opponents in a row in Florida’s Jeremy Lin (66) and Ole Miss’ Nikola Slavic(62) 7-5, 6-3 and 6-2, 6-4 respectively … Notched his sixth ranked win of the season as he defeated the No. 45 Tyler Stice of Auburn 6-7(5), 6-1, 6-4, and clinched the match for MSU on the road … Climbed to No. 70 in the ITA rankings after that victory, but Malesevic did not stop there. He defeated Bozo Braun of Arkansas, 7-5, 6-3, to rise another 23 spots to No. 47 … His last win of the season came against Middle Tennessee’s No. 44 Leo Raquin 6-4, 6-3 in the second round of the NCAA Team Championships in Starkville … Earned a spot to play in the NCAA Singles Championships in Stillwater, Oklahoma ... In doubles, he mostly played with partner Michal Norvansky during SEC play and went 8-6 … Malesevic and Novansky clinched doubles point for Mississippi State with a 6-3 victory over Vanderbilt’s duo of Hugo Coquelin and Danil Panarin … Defeated the Kentucky pair of Jack Loutit and Matt Rankin 7-5, and clinched doubles point for the Bulldogs in the process … Recorded a 7-5 victory over Florida’s duo of Kevin Edengren and Tanapatt Nirundorm and also clinched their third match of the season … Won and clinched the doubles point against the Alabama duo of Enzo Aguiard and Zach Foster, 6-3 … Went 2-0 in the NCAA Starkvilel Regional where they defeated the duo of Matteo Lataste and Lun Obrul 6-2 from Alabama State and Middle Tennessee’s duo of Jakub Kroslak and Shu Matsuoka, 7-5.
FALL:
Entered the fall ranked 46th in singles and 14th in doubles alongside partner Michal Novansky … Won four of five doubles matches played during the fall alongside partner Marshall Landry … Defeated Vanja Dobrnjac and Lucius Soller of Jacksonville State 6-4 during ITA Southern Regionals … Claimed the GT Fall Invite Doubles Championship with Landry, going 3-0 at the event … Landry and Malesevic beat Alex Megg and Nicholas Recoura of New Mexico 8-6, Robert Bauer and Elias Shokry of Georgia Tech 8-4 and Liberty’s Thando Longwe-Smit and Rafael Marques Da Silva 8-4 to take the tournament title.

In singles, collected four victories at the ITA Southern Regional Championships in Tulsa, Oklahoma … Defeated Julien Penzlin of LSU with a score of 7-6(3), 2-6, 6-3 … Beat Alabama’s Matias Ponce De Leon (4-6, 6-2, 6-4) … Overcame LSU’s Welsh Hotard with a 6-4, 6-7(7), 6-3 win, as well as a victory over fellow Mississippi State teammate Carles Hernandez (7-5, 6-2) … In doubles, recorded a win with partner Gregor Ramskogler at the ITA All-American Championships, defeating the Utah State tandem of David Cierny and Bodin Zarkovic (6-1, 6-2) … recorded four wins with partner Carles Hernandez at the ITA Southern Regional Championships … Defeated UAB’s duo of Georgios Nouchakis and Athanasios Spyropoulos (8-3) … Recorded an 8-2 victory over Tulane’s duo of Rafael De Alba and Luka Petrovic … Downed the Alabama tandem of Enzo Aguiard and Matias Ponce De Leon (8-4), as well as Louisiana’s duo of Karlo Kajin and Alejandro Gonzalez (8-1) … Competed with Hernandez at the ITA Fall National Championship in San Diego, California and defeated the No. 18 Georgia duo of Trent Bryde and Phillip Henning (6-2,7-5).

In doubles, amassed a 4-2 record with partner Davide Tortora … The duo started the semester with back-to-back wins over Tulane’s pair of Alex Bancila/ Charlie Barry (6-2) and Michigan’s tandem of Will Cooksey/ Ondrej Styler (6-4) at the MSU Bulldog Invitational … At the Georgia Tech Invite, went 2-1 over the weekend with a 6-3 win over Chen Dong/ Angel Guerrero Melgar of Georgia Tech and a 7-6(4) victory over John Hallquist Lithen/ Walker Stearns of Ole Miss … In singles, downed Tulane’s Fynn Kuenkler of Tulane with a score of 4-6, 6-2, 6-4, as well as Alabama’s Enzo Aguiard with a score of 6-3, 7-5 at the MSU Bulldog Invitational on home soil … Recorded another 7-5, 6-0 victory over Stearns of Ole Miss at the Georgia Tech Invite.

In doubles, amassed an 11-6 record in dual-match play with partner Davide Tortora on court No. 2 … The tandem recorded four wins over ranked opponents … During the ITA Kick-off Weekend, the pair downed Arkansas’ 60th duo of Adrien Burdet and Melvin Manuel (6-4), as well as Kentucky’s 34th-ranked pair of Joshua Lapadat and JJ Mercer (6-4), which marks the highest ranked-win for the duo during the dual-match season … In singles, accumulated a team-best 18-7 record over the duration of the season, including a 7-5 record in SEC play … Defeated seven ranked opponents over the course of the season … Went on a seven-match win streak from Feb. 3-27, which includes a 6-4, 4-6, 6-3 win over 15th-ranked Juan Carlos Aguilar of TCU on the road … The victory over Aguilar marks the highest-ranked win in his career.
