Why MSU... “After visiting a number of schools, Mississippi State was the only one that felt like home. The direction the program is heading is exciting and I wanted to play a role in that and contribute to the success. The coaches are dedicated and have a ‘chase great’ mentality that is contagious.”
Career Highs
- Finished fifth among her fellow Bulldogs with 127 digs on the season.
- Recorded a match-high 15 digs in four sets against Missouri (Nov. 17).
- Tallied 11 service aces, which ranked fourth on the team.
Laramie County CC (2015-16)
- One of the top defensive specialists at Laramie County Community College for the past two years
- In 79 total matches played (277 sets), she accumulated 1,103 digs (3.98 d/s), 164 assists (0.59 (a/s) and 77 service aces (0.29 sa/s)
- Led the Golden Eagles to a 28-10 finish and a second-place finish at the Rehion IX North Tournament, where she earned All-Tournament Team honors
- Finished her second year with LCCC with a team-high 648 digs, which ranked sixth in the country
- Was also third in assists and aces on the team with 498 and 40, respectively
- For her dominant play, she earned Region IX North All-Region Team honors
- Made an immediate impact at LCCC, being named team captain as a freshman
- Played in 41 matches, tallying 455 digs (3.25 d/s), 52 assists (0.37 a/s) and 37 service aces (0.26 sa/s)
- Has been a standout in the classroom, earning Academic All-Region, NJCAA Superior Academic Achievement and LCCC President’s Honor Roll in the Fall and Spring
High School/Club
- A four-year letterwinner and star as libero and setter for the Chatfield Senior High School Chargers
- Captured a regional championship during her junior year and placed ninth at the state tournament
- Named team captain and earned All-Conference First Team during her senior season
- Tabbed as Second Team All-Conference (5A) in her junior season, while being named a team captain as libero
- Also reeled in Academic All-State Honorable Mention honors during her junior year
- Named the team’s starting libero for her sophomore campaign, eventually pulling in First Team All-Conference laurels
- Began her high school career as a starter on the varsity squad at the setter position
- A stellar defensive specialist on club scene for head coach Tara Hittle and the Colorado Juniors
- Showed tremendous leadership ability, as she was named team captain for every team she played with on the club level
